ACTIVITIES

The Civic Library is at the forefront of initiatives to promote cultural and environmental heritage, through meetings with authors and book presentations to encourage community participation and socialisation in the cultural life of the village. It also researches information on the history and culture of the Greeks of Calabria and digitises the oldest texts to ensure their preservation.
The library also aims to be a place of recreation and reference for the younger generation, but also a meeting place and companionship for the "human library" made up of all the elderly people living in Bova.
